I. Entry Requirements
  1. Not with standing anything in this submission to the contrary, no student will be admitted to the GIC if they are less than eighteen (18) years of age on the date of their course commencement.
  2. Certain level of qualification is required for entry to different courses as per the requirements of the University. Please refer to the course brochure and prospectus to find out more details.
  3. Enrolment to any course will be on the discretion of the GIC Registrar and GIC has the right to refuse any application for which the Registrar is not satisfied. Explanation for the refusal can be provided but the GIC authorities are not bound to provide that.
  4. GIC decision for the acceptance of enrolment application will be final and cannot be challenged under any circumstances.
II. Fees and Refunds
  1. Registration and Administration Fees are non-refundable.
  2. All fees due to the GIC must be paid in full prior to course commencement.
  3. Course fees do NOT include travel, social programmes, external examination fees, personal and health insurance, bank charges on international money transfers or course materials i.e. books, photocopies, pens, pencils and papers. No Refunds will be made for any course once the student gets the Visa for UK regardless of their travel or entry to UK.
  4. In case a student’s UK Student Visa is refused, any fees / deposit paid to the GIC will be refunded to the student or to any other person authorized by the student after deducting an administration charge of £100 Plus agent’s commission (if any) that GIC might have paid to get that student enrolled on the course. All the Refunds will be net of Bank Charges and the student will have to pay any bank charges relating to the refund.
  5. No Refunds will be made to any Student after the Student gets Visa.
  6. For all Refund claims, the student must make a request in writing to the GIC Registrar stating the reason for refusal with documentary evidence in support of his / her request (e.g. in case of Visa Refusal, original visa refusal letter must be attached to the refund request).
  7. All refunds will be processed within 4 weeks of receiving the refund request.
  8. Course Fees are non-transferable to any other course and students will have to complete the course in which they initially got the admission.
  9. GIC Management may change the Course Fees without prior notification.
III. General
  1. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure at all times that all the personal details held by the GIC are up-to-date and accurate.
  2. To make admission decisions the GIC is required to hold information about you which may be classified as ‘sensitive personal data’ under the Data Protection Act 1988. Due to the nature of the application process, by signing the enrolment form and providing the documents for your application you accept that we will hold your information on file, which will remain confidential to the GIC.
  3. The GIC reserves the right to dismiss any student at any time for behavior which is deemed to be unprofessional, inappropriate or disruptive to other students. No fees will be refundable for any student dismissed under this section.
  4. The GIC maintains the right to make changes to the timetable, courses, tutors, fees or venues, without prior notice. Any alterations should not affect your subjects or qualifications substantially.
  5. At the discretion of the GIC we reserve the right to reschedule courses if the GIC deems there to be insufficient enrollments.
  6. Student will not be allowed to extend their course due to any authorized absences and/or uncertified illness (Any agreed extensions may be subject to additional fees).
  7. BY signing this form, the student authorizes the GIC to provide all information contained in the form and on GIC records as and when required by accrediting bodies, any relevant government agencies or required by the court of law.
  8. The GIC is not liable for loss or damage to student belongings when on GIC premises or otherwise.
SECTION 9: Declaration
I hereby certify that the information I have given above is correct and complete, and I agree that on admission to the GIC, I will abide by the charter, regulations and terms and conditions of the GIC. I understand that the information I have provided in this form will be stored and processed on a computer and used in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act (1998). I understand that I may obtain details of what information is held, by whom it will be held and used.
